BellSmith are a Mackay based alternative-folk duo with a wide and varied repertoire. Their luscious vocal harmonies, vivacious violin, and original folk-pop songs will move you to laugh, cry and glimpse life from another’s shoes.

BellSmith members Kathleen Campbell and Brendan Smith are both graduates from the Central Queensland University Conservatorium of Music in classical voice and violin. They have a been making music together since 2006. In 2013, BellSmith won a battle of the bands competition in Mackay and were nominated for the Liz Johnston award at the National Folk Festival for the best undiscovered singers of the festival.

BellSmith plays for weddings, functions, festivals, pubs and clubs, and can sometimes even be found busking on the streets!
